McKenzie's active community offers residents and visitors abundant opportunities for entertainment. From our annual festivals, to learning opportunities for students of all ages and interests, McKenzie has something for everyone. Southern Fried and Sweet Tea Festival - This annual, 2-day festival celebrating food and family includes food vendors,  wonderful crafts, fabulous entertainment, children's activities, car show and a fireworks display! 

Freedom Festival - Annual event in celebration of Independence Day. Great entertainment, food & fireworks. 

The Park Theater - The Park Theater is a landmark in historic downtown McKenzie, TN. Originally constructed in the 1940's the building has not been in operation as a theater for several years. The campaign - "Park Theater: Act II" denotes the second birth of the cinema.Music in the Park 

The Dixie Performing Arts Center - With regular performances from world-class musicians and actors, The Dixie is a great destination only 15 minutes from McKenzie. The Dixie also offers a number of arts programs for children and adults.
